	Both cities have maintained strong "people to people" roots by associating with each other in many ways. We must treasure such priceless bonds.
Mr. Hongo, Yuusuke(Will) and Michiko(Liza)	Fumio Hongo with Yuusuke (Will) and Michiko (Liza) Springmeyer. Fumio Hongo came up with the Japanese names of Will and Liza.
Mr.Ohkura and the Springmeyers	The Osamu Okura family and Springmeyer family's ties have continued for 30 years since the marriage of Bob and Gwen. The Okura family serve as a host family.
Thomas Waugh and the Karasawa's family	Etsuo Karasawa who is a member of the sister city committee coorperates as a host family for job trainees and AETs.
With the Otsuki's Family	Kimberly Ball and Younis Kato spent 3 months in Matsumoto during high school. Sehei Ootsuki who is a member of the sister city committee had accepted a long-term host family.
Mr.Sakai and Dagger A Christmas Card to the Sakai's family	June 1988, the five members of the Dagger family visited Matsumoto and spent a wonderful time with the Sakai family.
Mr.Ito and Randolph Taylor	Randolph Taylor has visited Matsumoto many times and has made friendships with people such as the Ryouji Ito family. He also has contributed much to the sister city program.
Kim Prowjeck	Kim Prowjeck has welcomed the many visitors from Matsumoto as a police officer at the Pioneer Parade.
